DSS threatens to launch agitation against tata project

Hubli, June 9 (UNI) Karnataka Dalit Sangharsha Samiti (DSS) would oppose the goverment's move to provide Tata Motors an additional land of 300 acres near Dharwad to develop motor vehicles manufacturing unit.

Participating in a divisional convention, state convenor Laxminarayan Nagwar theatened to launch an agitation opposing the move.

He said that the government was fooling the people by providing land to Tata Motors under the pretext of providing jobs to youth and development of north Karnataka.

Dalits and backwards wil not get employment in this unit and the DSS would oppose the move of the government, he said.
