Disney launches special mobile content on Donald Duck

New Delhi, June 9 (UNI) Walt Disney Internet Group (WDIG) is launching a special mobile content to celebrate its popular cartoon character Donald Duck's birthday today.

For this, a unique 'Donald Zone' has been created on Reliance mobile world, PlanetHutch and AirtelLive for mobile users across India.

''Through our focus on emerging platforms, we seek to showcase our creative properties to further strengthen our brands and franchises. Today, we are giving consumers what they want, great entertainment at a fair price, when and where they want in ways that are convenient and easy to access,'' Walt Disney Internet Group Director T N Prabhu said.

WDIG also plans to organise a 'Duck Quiz', where one can participate through their mobile phones and win 'Back to School' hampers, Mr Prabhu said.

Subscribers can also set dialogues as ringtones and SMS tones.

WDIG will also present a 13 episode series titled 'Donald Duck - Lost in time' specially designed for mobile viewing.

Consumers can download wallpapers, animations, ringtones, games and trivia on www.wap.disney.in on their GPRS-enabled phones.
