Bus runs into tea stall, one killed

Puducherry, June 9 (UNI) One person was killed and three others were injured when a private bus rammed into a tea stall at Tennal near Villianur near here today.

The accident occurred when the driver lost control of the vehicle while steering it away from hitting a moped rider, police said.

However, it hit the moped, another cyclist and ran into the tea stall. The bus was proceeding to Villupuram from here.

While Gopal (81), who was relishing a cup of tea inside the stall, died on the way to hospital the injured, all from Tennal, were admitted to the Government General Hospital here.
