Badal condoles death of Barnala's mother-in-law

Chandigarh, June 9 (UNI) Punjab Chief Minister Parkash Singh Badal expressed profound grief and sorrow over the sad demise of Mrs Daljit Kaur, mother-in-law of Tamilnadu Governor Surjit Singh Barnala.

Mrs Daljit Kaur passed away today after a prolonged illness.

She was 92.

In a condolence message here, Mr Badal expressed heartfelt sympathies with the members of the bereaved family and prayed to Almighty to give strength and courage to bear this irreparable loss and grant peace to the departed soul.

Local Bodies minister Manoranjan Kalia also condoled the death of Mrs Daljit Kaur.
