Two women Maoists arrested, detonators recovered

Gaya, June 08 (UNI) Police today arrested two women activists of the proscribed CPI(Maoist) from them at Mazapur village under Amas police station area in the district.

District Superintendent of Police A K Jain said acting on a tip off, a raid was conducted at a hide-out at Mazapur village and the women ultras were arrested.

About 2600 detonators, 400 metres of fuse wire and other incriminating materials were recovered from the spot during the search operation.

The activists were being interrogated.

''Raids are being carried out to nab their associates,'' he added.
