Three killed, two hurt in Kashmir accidents
Srinagar, Jun 8 (UNI) Three people, including two girls, were killed and two others wounded in separate road accidents across the Kashmir valley since last evening, police said today.
A speeding Tata Sumo vehicle hit and killed 20-year-old Rubeena near her residence at Pattan in Baramulla district today.
Police immediately swung into action and arrested the driver. The vehicle was also seized.
A motorcyclist hit and seriously wounded another girl, identified as Rifat, of Khanyar in downtown city last evening. The injured was immediately rushed to the Sher-i-Kashmir Institute of Medical Sciences where she died early today.
A Tata Sumo vehicle hit a motorcycle, wounding three people travelling on it at Wagub crossing in Baramulla last evening.
The injured were rushed to a hospital where Mohammad Altaf Rather died this morning while the condition of the two others was stated to be critical, police said.
UNI
