Murali Karthick arrives, Batsmens' Camp from tomorrow

Bangalore, June 8 (UNI) Team India players will slug it out at a five-day 'batsmen camp' beginning at the National Cricket Academy here in preparation for the tours of Ireland and England.

Dinesh Kaarthik was the only player to arrive in the city and the rest were expected to come later tonight and tomorrow, NCA sources said.

The Indian team would to play three ODIs at Belfast in Ireland against South Africa and a one ODI against Pakistan at Glasgow, Scotland. Later they would emplan for England to play in the series that include three Tests and seven ODIs against the hosts.

Meanwhile, the five-day bowlers camp held in the Infosys campus, Mysore, concluded today and players returned to the State Capital.

The probables selected for the batsman camp included Team India Captain Rahul Dravid, Sachin Tendulkar, Sourav Ganguly, Wasim Jaffer, V V S Laxman, Gautham Gambir, Robin Uthappa, Virender Sewhag, Dinesh Mongia, M S Dhoni, Dinesh Kaarthik, Rohit Sharma, Mohd Kaif, S Badrinath and Yuvraj Singh.
