Minister asks oppn not to put hurdles to repatriation

Hyderabad, June 8 (UNI) Andhra Pradesh Higher Education Minister and Committee for GO 610 implementation convener D Srinivas today appealed to the opposition not to create hurdles to repatriation of government employees from other zones working in Telangana.

Talking to reporters at the Secretariat, he made it clear that GO 399 was issued only to facilitate early repatriation of non-local employees.

He criticised the TDP for doing nothing towards repatriation when it was in power but finding fault with the Congress Government which was committed to ensure implementation of the GO promulgated by the government headed by N T Rama Rao.

Reiterating that transfer orders would be issued to all the employees of other zones working in Telangana by month-end, he appealed to all sections to cooperate with the Government.

Rejecting the opposition demand for scrapping the GO, he said the order had been issued only to simplify the process and prevent the files from gathering dust in various departments.
