Kumaraswamy appeals to President Kalam to settle in Bangalore
Hassan, Jun 8 (UNI) Karnataka Chief Minister H D Kumaraswamy today appealed to President A P J Abdul Kalam to settle in Bangalore after he demits office next month.
Speaking to newsmen after participating at the Silver Jubilee Celebration of the Master Control Facility of the ISRO here, Mr Kumaraswamy said that the President while thanking for the offer assured to consider it.
Mr Kumaraswamy also informed that the President, while appreciating his village stay programs across the state, also inquired about the progress of the Suvarna Grama Udyog Yojane which was launched by recently.
