Kumaraswamy appeals to Kalam to settle down in B'lore
Hassan, June 8 (UNI) Karnataka Chief Minister H D Kumaraswamy today appealed to President A P J Abdul Kalam to settle down in Bangalore after he demitted office next month.
Speaking to newsmen after participating at the Silver Jubilee Celebration of the Master Control Facility of the ISRO here, Mr Kumaraswamy said the President while thanking him for the offer assured to consider it.
Mr Kumaraswamy also informed that the President, while appreciating his village stay programmes across the state, also enquired about the progress of the Suvarna Grama Udyog Yojane which was launched recently.
