Khanduri to lay foundation for second phase of Patanjali Yogpeeth

New Delhi,June 8 (UNI) Uttarakhand Chief Minister Major Gen (retd) B C Khanduri will lay the foundation stone of the second phase of Patanjali Yogpeeth in Hardwar on Sunday.

Former Chief Ministers of Uttarakhand Narayan Dutt Tiwari, Swami Nityanand and Bhagat Singh Koshiyari and Leader of Opposition Harek Singh Rawat would be present along with several saints, industrialists to grace the occasion.

Briefing on the salient features of the upcoming phase of the yogpeeth, General Secretary of the trust Acharya Bal Krishana said in this phase, the yogpeeth would have a multi-lingual knowledge hub to facilitate Genetic Research, Clinical Control Trial and Patent for yoga. Besides, an auditorium for Yoga science practices, with a capacity of 3000 seats would be dedicated to the nation, he added.

Swami Ramdev will deliver a lecture on 'Vision-Vaidic Sanskriti aur Gyan Utkarsh' focusing on the proven medical relevance of Yoga.

Medical scientists, researchers and enlightened people from all over the world are interestingly awaiting this lecture said Surender Tijarawala,spokesman of the trust.

The function would be attended by more than 5,000 Yoga instructors and 2,000 Yogapith members from all over the world, informed the yogpeeth official.
