Kamat sworn in as new Chief Minister of Goa
Panaji, June 8 (UNI) Digambar Vasant Kamat was today sworn in as the new Chief Minister of Goa, heading a 23-member Congress-led coalition government.
Governor S C Jamir administered the oath of office and secrecy to Mr Kamat.
Among others, who were sworn in as Ministers, were GPCC President Ravi S Naik, NCP legislature party leader Jose Phillip D'Souza and MGP leader RamaKrishna (Sudin) Dhavlikar.
Mr Kamat is the 17th Chief Minister of Goa. He succeeds Mr Pratapsinh Rane.
