Kalam leaves for New Delhi

Bangalore, June 8 (UNI) President A P J Abdul Kalam left tonight for New Delhi after a day's visit to Karnataka.

Dr Kalam was seen off at the airport by Governor T N Chaturvedi and other top officials.

During his stay, the President dedicated to the nation INSAT 4B and participated in the Silver Jubilee Celebration of Master Control Facility of the ISRO, situated on the outskirts of Hassan City and distributed ISRO and ASI Awards to scientists and technologists.

Dr Kalam also had interaction with school children in Hassan.
