Indian to operate additional flight to Muscat from tomorrow

Kozhikode, June 8 (UNI) Public carrier Indian will operate additional flights in the Kozhikode-Muscat sector from tomorrow to clear the passengers stranded by Cyclone Gonu.

According to an Airline spokesman here, the additional flight No 1925 would leave Karipur International Airport, nere here, at 0815 hrs and arrive in Muscat at 1005 hrs (local time).

In the return direction, flight No 1926 would leave Muscat at 1105 hrs and arrive in Karipur at 1545 hrs, he said.

Due to the operation of additional services, the Airlines had rescheduled its Calicut-Chennai flight at 1630 hrs instead of 0800 hrs, the spokesman added.

More than 150 and 200 persons were stranded at Karipur and Muscat Airport respectively following disruption of flight operation caused by cyclonic storm.
