Grocer shot at in Vadodara

Vadodara, Jun 8 (UNI) An unidentified man shot at a grocer at New Sama Road area here early today.

Sureshchandra Rameshchandra Gupta was waiting for the milk delivery van at 0400 hrs when an unknown motorcyclist whipped out a pistol and fired three shots at him and absconded. One bullet hit Suresh in the head, while the other two hit the wall.

Suresh is still unconscious and no statement has been taken, police said.

Police Commissioner P C Thakur visited the scene of the crime. A complaint has been filed against the assailant at the Fatehgunj police station.
