Former CLP leader demands withdrawal of GO 399

Hyderabad, June 8 (UNI) Former Congress Legislative Party (CLP) Leader and MLA P Janardhan Reddy today demanded that the Andhra Pradesh Government withdraw Government Order 399, issued recently, and implement GO 610, which provided for employment to locals in Telangana and repatriation of non-locals to their own regions.

Addressing the press here, Mr Reddy said the issuance of GO 399 was against the spirit of 'presidential orders and six-point formula'.

Pointing out that Chief Minister Y S Rajasekhara Reddy announced the implementation of GO 610 in the Assembly during the budget session, he said the government should implement GO 610 and repatriate all non-locals in government departments by the end of June.
