Deve Gowda to play major role in formation of Third Front

Dharwad, June 8 (UNI) Karnataka Government representative in Delhi Mahima Patel today said that former Prime Minister and Janata Dal (Secular) National President H D Deve Gowda will be playing a major role in the formation of Third Front in the country.

Talking to newsmen here, he said that after Uttar Pradesh elections political developments were in favour of formation of a Third Front in the country to fight Congress and Bharatiya Janata Party.

Mr Patel said that the political leaders including former Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu, former Tamil Nadu Chief Minister J Jayalalithaa, former UP Chief Minister Mulayam Singh Yadav and former Karnataka Chief Minister S Bangarappa who met recently in Hyderabad on the issue of selection of candidate for President post have expressed the desire to form the Third Front.
