Delhi Police constable commits suicide

New Delhi, June 8 (UNI) A Delhi Police Constable, stationed at the Connaught Place police station, allegedly committed suicide by hanging himself at his Azadpur residence in North-West Delhi this morning.

Satish Kumar (28) was found hanging from the ceiling fan of his MCD Colony house at Azadpur by his wife Sangeeta, sources said.

The incident came to light after his wife, who works as a staff nurse in Rajan Babu T B Hospital in the Camp area, returned at about 1015 hrs from the hospital after getting a relative checked.

In his suicide note Satish, father of two sons (one two-year-old and the other six-months-old) held no one responsible for his act.

Satish, who hailed from Baghpat in Uttar Pradesh, had been working with the Delhi Police for the last eight years.
