Central Railways to operate Mega Block on sunday.

Mumbai June 8 (UNI) The Central Railway will operate a Mega Block on its suburban sections for carrying out maintenance work on Sunday.

The trains on down Harbour line between Masjid and Chunabhatti stations will remain suspended from 1100 hrs to 1600 hrs. Up and Down Harbour line between Vadala Road and Mahim Statios will also remain suspended from 1100 hrs to 1550 hrs.

All Down Harbour line services between CSTM and Panvel/Belapur leaving CST from 1051hrs to 1551hrs will run via Main line between CST and Kurla during the block period and further diverted to Down Harbour line proper.

Down Harbour line services to Bandra/Andheri, leaving CST from 1041 hrs to 1600 hrs and Up Harbour line services leaving Bandra/ Andheri towards CST from 1049 hrs to 1555 hrs will also remain suspended.

Up Harbour line services from Panvel/Belapur to CSTM will run on Up Harbour line proper.

Harbour line passenger for Bandra/Andheri are allowed to travel via Main line and Western Railway on their valid card/season tickets from 1000 hrs to 1800 hrs during the Block.

Down slow services leaving CST from 0940 hrs to 1544 hrs will run on Down fast line between Byculla and Vidyavihar stations and will halt at Parel, Dadar, Matunga, Sion and Kurla stations during the period.

Up fast line services leaving Thane from 0922 hrs to 1445 hrs will run on Up slow line between Mulund and Matunga stations and will halt at all stations between Mulund and Matunga stations during the block period.

Down slow line services will not be available at Chinchpokli, Currey Road and Vidyavihar stations during the block period.

However, passengers are allowed to travel via Parel&Ghatkopar in Up direction on their valid card/ season tickets, said a release issued here today.
