Bacardi announces senior management appointments

Kolkata, Jun 8 (UNI) In a major in-house reshuffle, Bacardi-Martini India Limited (BMIL) has designated Mr.Jayant Kapur as the Chairman of the Board of Directors.

The company has decided to bring back Mr. Mahesh Madhavan, currently Managing Director, Bacardi Thailand, to India, by promoting him as President and CEO of BMIL.

A company release issued here today said both the appointments would be effective from August one.

Stating that India had been identified as a priority growth investment market, Bacardi Executive Committee member Luis Bach said in a statement that the senior leadership appointments would allow the company to accelerate development of business in the country.
