3 dead, 4 take ill due to food poisoning

Thane, Jun 8 (UNI) Three persons, including two women, died and four others took ill due to suspected food poisoning in Shahapur taluka of Thane district.

The deceased--Manubai Namdeo Tiwar (45), Barkubai Yeshwant Godambe (30) and her son Naresh - complained of giddiness and nausea after having their dinner last night and were rushed to Shahapur rural hospital, where they died, police today said.

The food samples had been collected for analysis, police added.
