3 armymen killed, 25 injured in Udhampur road accident

Jammu, June 8 (UNI) At least 3 army personnel were killed and 25 others injured in a bus accident near Udhampur on Jammu-Srinnagar national highway this evening.

Defence Ministry spokesman Lt Col S D Goswami said one of the civil buses hired by army skided off the road and fell into a deep gorge at Taldi Nala.

The bus was part of the army convoy, which was shifting soldiers from Srinagar to Transit Camp at Jammu, the spokesman informed.

The injured were shifted to the nearby Command Hospital of the army, he added.
