2 die, 6 injures on Mumbai-Agra highway

Nashik, June 8 (UNI) Two persons were killed and six others injured in an accident on the Mumbai-Agra national highway early today.

Bharat Rajendra Kasar (49) and an unidentified person were killed when a private bus hit an autorickshaw near the Mumbai Naka signal at around 0215 hrs. Both the deceased were passengers of the autorickshaw, police said.

A case has been registered at the Bhadra Kali police station against bus driver Mushtaq Ahmed Daus Mohammad (48) under sections 279, 304, 427 of the Indian Penal Code (IPC) and section 184 of the Motor Vehicle Act, police added.
