10 yrs RI for raping minor girl

Machilipatnam, Andhra Pradesh, June 8 (UNI) A lower court today sentenced a man to ten years rigorous imprisonment for raping a ten-year-old girl.

The Krishna district Assistant Sessions Judge also slapped a fine of Rs 500 on S Naganjaneyulu (30) of Sonarudravaram in Kalidindi mandal.

The accused had raped the minor girl, studying in fifth standard, at his house on March three, 2006, when his wife was not home.
