World Brahmin Conference passes 6 proposals on Kashmiri Pandits

Gorakhpur, Jun 7 (UNI) Various proposals related to the welfare and economic well-being of Kashmiri Pandits were approved in the 4th World Brahmin Conference, last month under the auspices of World Brahmin Federation, its president today said.

The Federation's newly-elected president Dr Sangam Mishra said at least six proposals in connection with the unity and reservation on the basis on economic criteria have been approved.

''The proposals relate to displacement of Kashmiri Pandits facing terror threat, enrichment of Indian culture and setting up of an internation fund for the community.'' The 5th conference would be held on January 10 and 11, 2009 in the pink city of Jaipur.
