Wipro Board to merge 6 cos

New Delhi, June 7 (UNI) Wipro Ltd today announced that its Board of Directors has approved merger of six of its subsidiaries with itself.

Wipro Ltd in a statement said the draft scheme of amalgamation through a circular resolution dated June 6, 2007 has decided to merge MPACT Technology Services Pvt Ltd, mPower Software Services (India) Pvt Ltd and CMango India Pvt Ltd.

The merger will also bring Wipro Infrastructure Engineering Ltd, Wipro Healthcare IT Ltd and Quantech Global Services Ltd with itself.

These approvals are subject to the approval of the shareholders, creditors and the High Courts of respective states where registered office of the companies are situated, said the statement.
