Two more witnesses of Papiya murder case turn hostile
Patna, Jun 7(UNI) Two more witnesses in sensational murder case of professor Papiya Ghosh and her maid, turned hostile during their deposition in a local fast track court here today.
During the day, Pappu Singh and Pintu Kumar were produced before the fast track court judge of Patna Omprakash as 19th and 20th prosecution witness in the case. The witnesses denied the recovery of looted articles of prof Ghosh in his presence from the houses of two of the accused facing the trial.
On the prayer of prosecution, both the witnesses were declared hostile by the court. With this of the total 20 prosecution witnesses, six were declared hostile in the case.
Professor Ghosh and her maid Malti Devi were brutally murdered by the culprits when they protested a docoity bid in the house of the former on December 2, 2006.
