Sugarmills owe Rs 105 crore to farmers

Siddharthnagar, June 7 (UNI) Adding misery to farmers, sugarmills in Basti, Siddharthnagar and Sant Kabirnagar districts of Basti division owe a whopping sum of Rs 105 crore to them.

Bhabnan Sugarmill, Basti Sugarmill and Walterganj Sugarmill have outstanding dues of Rs 37.40 crore, Rs 30.84 crore and Rs 27.35 crore on them respectively.

Bhagnan Sugarmill had paid the dues incurred till April, whereas Basti and Walterganj mills had made the payments incurred upto March 25, sources said.
