Sizzling heat in Rajasthan, BSF jawan dies of heatstroke

Jaipur, June 7 (UNI) After getting a few days of respite from the hot weather the desert State Rajasthan is again in the grip of sizzling heat with one jawan of the Border Security Force (BSF) sccumbing to heat stroke.

According to BSF sources Hawaldar Rameshlal posted at Renuka border post in Ganganagar district died of heat stroke.

Ganganagar district recorced the highest temperature of 44.5 degree Celsius today.

State capital Jaipur reported a maximum temperature of 42.3 degrees which two degrees above normal while Churu recorded 42.7, Kota 43.2, Bikaner 41.5, Jaisalmer 40.6, Ajmer 40.5, Jodhpur and Udaipur 40.2 and Barmer 40.1 degrees.

According to weather office heat wave with sand storm may contiune to make the life of the people miserable in the desert districts of Barmer, Jaisalmer, Jodhpur and Bikaner.
