SI arrested in bribery case
Saharsa, Jun 7 (UNI) Vigilance sleuths today caught an excise sub-inspector red-handed while accepting bribe of Rs 5,000 from a local liquor vendor.
Vigilance Bureau Deputy Superintendent of Police Ram Naresh Singh here today said one Kundan Kumar Singh, a liquor vendor from Madhepura had complained to the bureau that SI Radhe Krishn Singh was demanding Rs 5,000 bribe from him.
Acting on the information, a team of the bureau raided Radhe Singhs house and caught him red-handed while accepting the bribe.
Arrested SI was being brought to Patna for further interrogated.
