Seiko announces its foray in India
Mumbai, June 7 (UNI) Seiko Watch Corporation, the 126-year old leading global watch manufacturer, today announced its foray in India by unvailing a wide range of its latest, premium international watches.
Addressing a glittering launch function here, Seiko's CEO and President Shinji Hottori admitted the late arrival in Indian market, but expressed confidence of completing brand building exercise within a course of a year.
''Seiko would have its own show room and after sales servicing centres by the end of this year,'' confident looking Hottori told reporters.
The global watch leader launched its latest range of wrist-watches through the 'Sportura', 'Premier', and 'Spring Drive' collections.
Mr Hottori did not disclosed the proposed business investment in India as well as specific sales target. However, he said that Seiko had a pre-market survey and already launched massive advertisement campaign across the country.
