Police hope for vital information in Mosque blast
Hyderabad, June 7: Andhra Pradesh police which is yet to make any significant headway in the May 18 blast in Mecca Masjid, got some hope when they brought a suspect for interrogation.
The Hyderabad police had earlier arrested one Shoaib Jagirdar in connection with the blast and he was alleged to have named Sameer,who was later arrested in West Bengal. As per the information given by Jagirdar, police suspect that Sameer must have supplied the RDX for the blast in Hyderabad Sources said he was likely to be produced in the court today.
However, police officials were refused to confirm that Sameer had been brought from Maharashtra.
Sources said Sameer, along with three others, was caught by the Border Security Force (BSF) while crossing the Bangladesh border in West Bengal. In his interrogation he reportedly confesses to have played an important role in the Mumbai train blasts ,following he handed over to the Maharashtra police.During Narco Analysis test, he is believed to have admitted that he had supplied RDX to some friends in Hyderabad.
After hearing from the Mumbai police, the AP police had reportedly filed a production warrant and obtained his custody to interrogate him on the supply of RDX and other plans.
