Nikkei down 0.9 pc as Kyocera, other exporters sold

Tokyo, June 7: The Nikkei average fell 0.90 percent on Thursday with exporters such as Kyocera Corp. down following a fall in U.S. and European stocks on rising inflation and interest rate worries.

The Nikkei share average was down 161.92 points at 17,879.01 as of 0001 GMT, and the broader TOPIX index shed 0.85 percent to 1,763.45.
