Naxal in police remand

Purulia, Jun 7 (UNI) A hardcore naxal Pijush Guha, who was arrested from Chhattishgarh, Uttarakhand, yesterday, was today produced before the Purulia court today.

The Chief Judicial Magistrate(CJM)-in-charge Surajit sent him to seven days' police remand until for further investigation.

It was alleged that Guha was involved in blast in Gurpara Police Camp in Burdwan and Purulia on October 4, 2005 night.
