Money wont hamper healthcare development in the state:Kumar
Darbhanga, Jun 07 (UNI) Bihar Health secretary Deepak Kumar today said money would not come in the way of healthcare development and the state government was committed to improve the government running hospitals in the state.
Speaking to mediapersons here at Darbhanga medical college and hospital, Mr Kumar said the government had announced a package of Rs ten crore each to the medical colleges in the state to improve infrastructure and basic amenities there.
He also directed the head of the departments to workout a plan to rechristen the state of affairs in the medical colleges.
He also announced two lakh rupees each to the primary health centres at block levels in the state.He assured that all the medical colleges and primary health centres would have drinking water facility by December 2007 and apart from this all primary health centres would have ambulance facility.
