Modi to inaugurate 'Auction Hall' today

Rajkot, June 7 (UNI) Gujarat Chief Minister Narendra Modi will inaugurate a newly constructed 'Auction Hall'' of Gondal Marketing yard today at Gondal, about 40 kms from here.

The Chief Minister would also inaugurate Movaiya water supply scheme, which would cover 38 villages. A water tank with the capacity of 20 lakh litters of water has been constructed at the site to distribute water through filter plant to these villages.

The villages would get drinking water through Mahi-Pariage Pipe line. The water scheme was completed at the cost of 17.12 crore.

Gondal Marketing Yard is celebrating its Golden Jubilee year as the yard has completed 50 years of its inception in Gondal and several programmes are being held there today on the occasion.

Agriculture Minister Bhupendrasinh Chudasama will be the chief guest at a farmers' convention named ''Krishi-shibir and Co-operative Minister C D Patel will inaugurate Agriculture fair.

MP from Porbandar Haribhai Patel, Women and Child Welfare Minister Jasumati Korat, Urban Development Minister I K Jadeja would be present on the occasion.
