Modi inaugurates Gondal marketing yard

Rajkot, June 7 (UNI) Gujarat Chief Minister Narendra Modi inaugurated a newly constructed 'Auction Hall'' of Gondal Marketing yard this afternoon at Gondal, about 40 kms from here.

The Chief Minister addressing a large gathering of farmers after the inauguration said that the 1600 km long coastline would soon be transformed into business potential which would provide jobs to lakhs of youths.

He also dedicated the Movaiya water supply scheme comprising Mahi-Pariage pipe line completed at a cost of 17.12 crore. The Movaiya scheme would cover 38 villages. 20 lakh litres capacity water tank was constructed at the site to distribute the water through filter plant to the villages.

Gondal Marketing Yard is celebrating its Golden Jubilee year as the yard has completed 50 years of its inception in Gondal.
