Man flees leaving behind wife's body

Lucknow, June 7 (UNI) A man left the body of his dead wife on the road and fled here today.

Police said Rajkumar of Chunar area in Mirzapur district had brought his wife Neelam for treatment at the Mayo Hospital here.

However, she died on the way to hospital and Rajkumar fled the scene.

Meanwhile, Rajkumar's father-in-law Ashok Gupta has alleged his son-in-law had murdered his daughter for dowry.

Investigations are on.
