ISEC invites bids for raw sugar trade

LONDON, June 7 (Reuters) The Indian Sugar Exim Corporation Ltd (ISEC) has invited bids from European trade houses for raw sugar, trade sources said on Thursday.

''They're having discussions with the wider market to seek more opportunities for their sugar,'' one trade source said.

The tonnage was not specified.

Indian raw sugar has a freight advantage over Brazilian raw sugar in some regional markets, the sources said.
