Indo rama sales up 46.59 pc post expansion
New Delhi, June 7 (UNI) Country's second largest polyester manufacturer Indo Rama Synthetics (India) Ltd today said the company's sales grew by 46.59 per cent after its capacity expansion in Nagpur last month.
The company posted an increase in the production and sale of PSF, POY, CHIPS and DTY, from its integrated unit at Butibori, Nagpur.
''With the recent expansion of our facility at Butibori, we have recorded a considerable growth in our sales in a short span of time,'' Indo Rama Chairman and Managing Director O P Lohia said in a statement.
Indo Rama's expansion has doubled the capacity to six lakh metric tonnes.
The sales figure stood at 43,760 metric tonnes (MT) during May this year against 29,789 MT during the earlier month.
The combined sales of 73,459 MT for the months of April and May 2007 recorded a 62.62 per cent jump from 45,171 MT clocked during the corresponding period last year.
