Fire gutters 11 houses in HP

Una, Jun 7 (UNI) Eleven houses were completely gutted in a devastating fire in Barnoh village of Una district in Himachal Pradesh today, police sources said.

Property estimated to be Rs 10 lakh besides cash amounting to Rs 50 lakh was damaged, but there was no loss of human life in the incident.

The sources said the cause of the fire was not immediately known, adding that two fire tenders worked for about three hours to douse the flames.

The district administration has announced a relief of Rs 4,000 each to the affected families.

Meanwhile district administration has launched an investigation to make out the cuase of fire.
