Call money rate opens at 00.30-00.40 per cent

Mumbai, Jun 7 (UNI) Call money rates opened at 00.30-00.40 per cent today from the previous close of 00.20-00.30 per cent on Wednesday.

Indian federal bond yields edged lower as cash conditions remained comfortable despite auctions of Rs 20,500 crore worth of bond and bills this week, dealers said.

The yield on the 10-year federal bond was at 8.12 per cent, lower than 8.14 per cent on Wednesday. Total traded volume was a normal Rs 155 crore in the first half-hour of trade.
