Ambedkar's statue vandalised

Varanasi, Jun 7 (UNI) Unidentified miscreants vandalised a statue of Bhimrao Ambedkar in Phoolpur area here.

Police said the incident occurred at Parsara village late last night, where miscreants ransacked the statue, prompting the people to agitate.

Meanwhile, additional police has been deployed in the area to avoid any violence.

A case has been registered.
