30 shanties destroyed in Okhla Slum fire

New Delhi, June 7 (UNI) Thirty shanties were destroyed in a fire that broke out in a slum of South Delhi this morning.

Fire department officials said the blaze was reported at about 1100 hrs in the slums of Okhla Phase 2.

The fire was controlled by 1135 hrs by seven fire tenders.

No loss of life or injuries were reported.

The casue of the blaze is yet to be ascertained.
