2 youth shot dead

Lucknow, June 7 (UNI) Two youth were shot dead by armed miscreants this morning, in Ballia city of Uttar Pradesh.

The murder occurred near Kadam crossing in Kotwali area, when two motorcycle borne opened fire at Ravi Bhushan Pandey (15) and Afzal (14), killing the duo on the spot, police said.

Reason behind the crime remained a puzzle, but it is suspected that miscreants attacked Ravi, whereby Afzal also became the victim of the stray bullet.

Meanwhile, investigation was on.
