2 booked for killing monkey

Gorakhpur, June 7 (UNI) Police has lodged a case against two sons of a Congress leader for killing a monkey in Cantonment area here today.

Yesterday, Ramesh and Shekhar, the sons of senior Congress party leader and fruit trader Ramchandra Sonkar had shot dead a monkey with his licensed pistol at Betiya Haata Colony.

The locals were agitated after the incident.

Police had registered a case against the duo, who were still absconding.
