UP: Teenager dies after failing in high-school exams

Varanasi, June 6: Dejected after failing the high school examinations, a teenaged girl allegedly committed suicide in the Dashwashamedh area here.

Kavita Sharma (16) jumped from the terrace of her double-storeyed house at Jangambadi after failing to clear UP Board High School examinations, the results of which were announced yesterday.

Kavita was rushed to the Banaras Hindu University (BHU) hospital, where she later succumbed to injuries.
