T Y Prabhu joins Union Bank as new Executive Director

Mumbai, June 6 (UNI) Mr T Y Prabhu today joined as Executive Director with the Union Bank of India.

Prior to assuming his new assignment, Mr Prabhu served as General Manager with Canara Bank in New Delhi, a Union Bank release said today.

During his career, stretching over three decades, Prabhu has worked in different areas like international division, corporate, credit, commercial credit, foreign exchange, treasury and investment, handling general affairs of the banking sector.

He was also deputed by the Canara bank to Hongkong, from where he came back in 1997, and subsequently took over the charge of Bank's domestic treasury, where he handled IPO of the bank as well as other important assignments.
