Suzlon subsi signs turbine pact with EMG

New Delhi, June 6 (UNI) Suzlon Wind Energy Corporation, a subsidiary of Suzlon Energy Ltd, has signed a contract for 630 MW of wind turbine capacity with Calofornia-based Edison Mission Group (EMG).

Under the contract, the delivery of 315 MW of turbine capacity is to be made in 2008 and another 315 MW in 2009, a company statement said today.

The contract along with previous purchases brings EMG's total committed Suzlon turbine capacity to over 1,000 MW, Suzlon Wind Energy Corporation CEO Andris Cukurs said.
