Soldier dies due to heart attack, two killed in Kashmir accidents

Srinagar June 6 (UNI) A soldier of Territorial Army was killed due to a heart attack while two people were killed and as many injured in road accidents in the Kashmir valley today.

Official sources said havaldar Hans Raj of 150 infantry batallion of Punjab Territorial Army died due to heart failure in his camp at Sharief Abad this morning.

A Power Development Department Bashir Ahmad Wani was killed when his scooter was hit by a speeding truck at Nowgam bypass.

They said a car hit and critically wounded one Manzoor ahmad Padroo at Shamsipora in south Kashmir district of Anantnag this morning. He was rushed to hospital where he died.

Two people, including a woman were injured in two different road accidents at Kupwara and Ganderbal. They were hospitalised.

Six houses and other structures were gutted in a devastating fire at Panzgam early this morning. The cause of the fire was not immediately known. No one was injured in the incident.
